At Sydney Defenders, our extensive array of professional legal services is offered with fixed fees. This is where both parties agree on a set amount charge for the legal services, regardless of time spent on the case. Fixed fees structure ensures you receive high quality criminal defence at a reasonable rate, and avoid any unforeseen costs at the end of your case. Some examples on fixed fees models we employ include:

A set fee for each court appearance (e.g., mentions, bail applications, or hearings).

Fees are broken down by case stages—e.g., one fee for negotiation, another for mention or sentencing, etc.

One fee covers the entire case from start to finish, with clear boundaries (e.g., excludes appeals or extra court dates).
We encourage you to take advantage of our free initial consult so you can meet your lawyer and give us the relevant information to determine the best course of action and the associated fees.

If you are eligible for Legal Aid, you can request your grant of aid to be transferred to Sydney Defenders. Upon approval, Legal Aid will cover the costs for us to represent you.
